Biography of Gennadiy Litovchenko
Gennadiy Litovchenko is a former Soviet and Ukrainian football player and midfielder. He was born on October 10, 1962, in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukrainian SSR.
Football Career
Litovchenko gained recognition for his exceptional field vision and powerful shots from medium and long distances. He played for clubs such as Dnipro (Dn) and Dynamo Kyiv, where he showcased his skills as a midfielder.
Representing the USSR national team, Litovchenko played in 57 matches and scored 14 goals. He also played two matches for the Olympic team. Additionally, he participated in two unofficial matches for the USSR national team, where he scored one goal. Litovchenko also represented the Ukrainian national team in four matches.
Coaching Career
After retiring as a player, Litovchenko pursued a career in coaching. Currently, he is the head coach of the second club team for Dynamo Kyiv and the coach of the Ukrainian youth national team.

He was also included in the lists of the 33 best football players of the USSR on multiple occasions, ranking first in 1984, 1988, and 1989, second in 1985, 1987, and 1990, and third in 1983.
Awards
Litovchenko has been honored with the Order of Merit of the III degree in 2004 and the II degree in 2006.
