Early Life and CareerGianni Guigou, born in Uruguay, began his football journey in 1994 with Club Nacional de Football. As a left midfielder, he showcased his exceptional skills and contributed significantly to the club's two championship victories in 1998 and 2000.
European Adventure
In 2000, Guigou embarked on a European adventure, joining AS Roma in Italy. Within a year, he had become an indispensable part of the team and played a pivotal role in securing the Serie A title. He continued his Italian sojourn with stints at AC Siena, ACF Fiorentina, and Treviso FC.
Return to Nacional
