Early Life and Education

Hamed Amarwas born on November 5, 1964, in Shfaram, Galilee, Israel. As a Druze, Amar embraced his heritage and actively participated in the Druze community.

Amar pursued his education at Bar-Ilan University, where he studied political science. His academic pursuits laid the foundation for his future political career.

Military Service and Martial Arts

Amar served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) from 1982 to 1986. During his military service, he developed a passion for martial arts and achieved the rank of fifth-degree black belt in Shotokan karate.

Political Involvement

Joining Yisrael Beiteinu

In 1999, Amar joined the Yisrael Beiteinu political party, founded by Avigdor Lieberman. He became a key figure within the party, serving as a close aide to Lieberman.

Election to the Knesset

Amar ran for the Knesset in 2009 as the twelfth candidate on the Yisrael Beiteinu list. He was successfully elected and became a member of the 18th Knesset on February 24, 2009.

Committee Assignments

As a member of the Knesset, Amar served on several parliamentary committees, including the Committee on Education, Culture and Sports and the Committee on Science and Technology.

Community Involvement

Druze Youth Movement

In 2001, Amar founded the Druze Youth Movement of Israel, an organization that brought together thousands of Druze youth. He served as its chairman, promoting youth development and empowering the Druze community.

Other Roles

Amar also held various roles outside of politics. He was the chairman of the Israel Martial Arts Association and an active member of the Shfaram City Council.

Personal Life

Amar is married and has three children. He currently resides in Shfaram, where he continues to be actively involved in the community and its development.
