Jarno Koskiranta: A Talented Finnish Hockey Forward
Early CareerJarno Koskiranta, a Finnish hockey forward, began his professional career in 2007 with the second-tier team Salamat. The following year, he joined SM-Liiga club SaiPa, where he spent three seasons, serving as assistant captain for two of them.
Domestic Success
In 2012/13, Koskiranta played for Tappara, winning the Finnish Championship silver medal. In total, he amassed 152 points (71 goals, 81 assists) in 250 top-tier Finnish league games.
International Career
Koskiranta represented Finland twice in the Euro Hockey Tour in 2012 and 2013. He also participated in the 2013 and 2016 World Championships.
Sibir Novosibirsk
On May 1, 2013, Koskiranta announced his signing with HC Sibir Novosibirsk in the KHL. He won a bronze medal with the team in the 2014/15 season.
Personal Life
Koskiranta is married and has a daughter named Olivia. His brother, Terro, is also a professional hockey player for SaiPa.
