Early Life and Education

Lin Junjie was born in Singapore. He attended Anglo-Chinese School and St. Andrew's Junior College before pursuing his singing career in Taiwan.

Musical Beginnings

Lin initially wrote songs for other artists, including A-mei and Harlem Yu. He eventually branched out and began composing his own music. Upon returning to Singapore in 2004, he was invited to perform at the National Day Parade.

Rising Popularity

Lin's career took off after his performances at the Singapore Hit Awards in 2004 and 2005. His songs, such as "Mu Nai Yi," gained widespread recognition after being featured in films and television series.

International Breakthrough

In 2006, Lin released the album "Cao Cao," which sold over 1 million copies within a week and became a commercial success throughout Asia.

World Record

In July 2007, Lin made it into the Guinness Book of World Records for signing 3052 CDs in 2 hours and 30 minutes, averaging 2.9 seconds per signature.

Awards and Accolades

In May 2009, Lin won the 14th Annual Compass Award (Composers and Authors Society of Singapore). He is widely recognized as one of the highest-paid singers in Asia.
