She had romantic relationships with renowned musicians such as Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, and several others. Jo Jo Laine collaborated with Sting and Andy Summers from "The Police" on her album "Hulk," released under the "Pye Records" label. Additionally, she launched a project called "Jo Jo Laine & The Firm" with Ray Fenwick from "Fancy," which was released by "Mercury Records." There were rumors of her friendship with Led Zeppelin, and it was said that when Jimmy Page wanted to use the name "The Firm," he sought permission from Laine.

Later Life and Death

In the late 1980s, Jo Jo Laine dated producer Jimmy Miller, who helped her create several recordings, including a remake of Jerry Goffin and Carole King's "I'm Into Something Good," which Laine titled "I'm In for Something Good!" She also worked as a manager for the British band "The Mannish Boys" in 1986 and performed with the Boston team "Gear" for a while.
