Early Life and Family
Jason Illman was born in Brisbane, Australia, to a family of five children. He is the only son and fourth-eldest child. Illman attended Brisbane Boys' College and Anglican Church Grammar School.
Tennis Career
Illman began his professional tennis career in 2009. He broke into the Top 200 in 2010 and made his Olympic debut at the 2016 Rio Olympics. In the first round of the singles tournament, he defeated Richardas Berankis of Lithuania in a historic 6-0, 6-0 shutout, marking the first "double bagel" victory in Olympic tennis history.

In addition to tennis, Illman is an avid soccer fan and has been a lifelong supporter of Liverpool FC.
