Biography of Johnny Christ
Johnny Christ is the bassist of the band "Avenged Sevenfold". He is the fourth bassist to join the group, replacing Justin Sane and Dameon Ash.
Early Life
Johnny was born in Huntington Beach, California. He is the younger brother of Sinister Gates' classmate, and The Reverend has known him since childhood thanks to his older brother. Johnny attended Marina High School in Huntington Beach, where he became acquainted with all the members of the band. He was also a close friend of Zacky Vengeance's brother, Matt Baker, from the band The Dear & Departed.
Joining Avenged Sevenfold
Johnny's entry into Avenged Sevenfold happened by chance. While walking down the street, he noticed the band rehearsing in Matt's garage. Impressed by their performance, Johnny made himself known to the group. When Ash was unable to continue playing with the band, Johnny stepped in to play bass. He quickly integrated into the group and proved to be a perfect fit.
Musical Career
After numerous concerts, Johnny made the decision to leave high school in order to continue touring with the band. He chose a career in music and has since dedicated himself to it. His two main idols are Cliff Burton from Metallica and Duff McKagan from Guns N' Roses.
Playing Style
Johnny's playing style varies depending on the song, but he excels in fast-paced tracks such as "Beast and the Harlot" and "Bat Country".
