Early Life and Club CareerJulio Ricardo Cruz is an Argentine footballer who played as a forward. He began his career at Banfield in 1993 before moving to River Plate in 1996. Standing at 1.90m tall, Cruz quickly gained a reputation as a powerful and prolific striker.
Move to Europe
In 1997, Cruz made his move to Europe, joining Dutch club Feyenoord. He showcased his goal-scoring potential during his time at Feyenoord. In 2000, he transferred to the Italian club Bologna before making a significant move to Inter Milan. Cruz achieved great success with Inter Milan, winning four consecutive Serie A titles.
International Career
Cruz represented the Argentine national team, earning 22 caps and scoring 3 goals. He was also a participant in the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
Retirement
After a successful career, Cruz decided to retire in 2010. His last club before retirement was Lazio in Rome.
Achievements
Throughout his career, Cruz achieved several notable accomplishments with different clubs. He won the Argentine league titles with River Plate in 1996 and 1997.
