Early Career
Lee Croft, an English footballer, began his professional career with Manchester City. A midfielder by trade, Croft made 28 appearances for the Citizens and scored 1 goal (against Aston Villa on October 31, 2005). In the 2004/2005 season, he was loaned to Oldham Athletic, where he played 12 matches.
Norwich City
On July 31, 2006, Croft transferred to Norwich City for a fee of £700,000. He made his debut for the Canaries against Barnsley at Carrow Road, resulting in a 5-1 victory for Norwich, with Croft scoring a goal. In December 2008, Croft played a pivotal role in a match against Ipswich. At the end of the 2008-2009 season, he was named Norwich's Player of the Season. After Norwich's relegation from the Championship, Croft moved to Derby County.
