Professional Canadian hockey player, defenseman, currently playing for the ZSC Lions in the Swiss National League.
Undrafted in the NHL, he signed as a free agent with the Edmonton Oilers on July 20, 2001.
NHL Journey
On February 18, 2007, he was traded to the New York Islanders for a third-round pick in the 2008 Draft in exchange for Denis Grebeshkov.
Less than a year later, on February 26, 2008, he moved to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for another third-round pick in the 2008 Draft, but only briefly before spending the next season with the Minnesota Wild.
In October 2009, he signed a one-year contract as a free agent with the Montreal Canadiens.
