Biography of Nasirdin Isanov
Nasirdin Isanov was born on November 7, 1943, in the village of Kok-Bel in the Naukat district of the Osh region of the Kirghiz SSR. He was the first Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan and an academician of the Engineering Academy of the USSR. Isanov tragically passed away on November 29, 1991, in Bishkek due to a car accident.
Early Life and Education
In 1960, Isanov worked for the "Moszhilstroi" construction trust in Moscow. The following year, he enrolled in the Moscow Engineering and Construction Institute. Isanov completed his studies in 1966, obtaining a degree from the Moscow Engineering and Construction Institute. After graduating, he worked as a foreman and chief engineer in various construction organizations in the Kirghiz SSR.
Political Career
Isanov became a member of the Communist Party in 1969. He held various positions within the party and government, including an instructor in the construction department of the Osh Regional Committee, secretary of the party committee of the "Naryngidroenergostroi" construction management, and first secretary of the Osh Regional Committee of the Komsomol.
In 1976, Isanov graduated from the Alma-Ata Higher Party School and later became the deputy head and head of the construction and urban economy department at the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kirghizia. He served as the Minister of Construction of the Kirghiz SSR in 1983 and later became the First Deputy Chairman of the State Construction Committee of the Kirghiz SSR.
In 1988, Isanov was appointed the chairman of the Issyk-Kul Oblast Executive Committee. He continued his academic pursuits and obtained a candidate degree in economics in 1990. Isanov then held the position of Vice-President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan from December of that year.
Prime Minister and Later Life
In January 1991, Isanov was appointed as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. During his tenure as Prime Minister, he also served as a People's Deputy of the USSR. Isanov received several prestigious awards, including the Orders of the Red Banner of Labor and the Order of Honor.
Tragically, Isanov's life was cut short in an auto accident. He was laid to rest at the Ala-Archa cemetery in Bishkek, leaving behind a legacy as the first Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan and a prominent academician.
