Vasyl Kutsenko: Ukrainian Agricultural Pioneer
Early Life and EducationVasyl Kutsenko was born on January 1, 1946, in Frankivka, Ukraine. He graduated from the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy in 1972, earning a degree in veterinary medicine.
Veterinary Career
1965-1967:Kutsenko worked as a veterinary assistant at Kolhoz Mayak in Chernobaivsky district.
Rise to Leadership
1972-1976:Kutsenko served as chief veterinarian at Kolhoz Suvorova in Ustynivsky district.
1976-1979:He became chairman of Kolhoz Mayak in October 1979.
1980-1996:Kutsenko was appointed director of Sovkhoz Mayak.1996-2000:He chaired the board of Agrofirm Mayak.
Agrofirm Mayak
In January 2000, Kutsenko founded Agrofirm Mayak, a private limited liability company headquartered in Peschanaya, Cherkassy region. He served as its director.
Political Involvement
From April 2006, Kutsenko was a deputy in the Cherkassy Regional Council.
Family
Kutsenko married Lyubov Vasylevna in 1950. They have three children: Tatiana (b. 1972), Oksana (b. 1975), and Oleksii (b. 1985).
