Early Life and Education

Olivia Grégoire was born on September 30, 1978, in Paris, France. She attended the private Catholic Lycée Sainte-Marie in Neuilly-sur-Seine, completing a preparatory course in literature. In 1999, she graduated from the University of Western Paris - Nanterre La Défense with a degree in history. She went on to obtain a diploma in public relations from the Paris Institute of Political Studies in 2001 and a diploma in marketing from the Higher School of Economics and Business Sciences in 2002.

Professional Career

Grégoire began her professional career in 2003 in the press office of the government of Jean-Pierre Raffarin. From 2005, she worked in the offices of Minister of Health Xavier Bertrand and later Philippe Bas. In 2007, she became Director of Public Relations and Sustainable Development at the private advertising agency DDB France. From 2009 onwards, she held similar positions at W&C (Havas Group) and Saint-Gobain Group. She was also Director of Publishing and Public Relations at the government's women's rights agency Etalab for a period of time. In 2014, she founded her own public relations agency, Olicare.

Political Career

On June 18, 2017, Grégoire was elected to the National Assembly as a member of En Marche! in the 12th district of Paris, winning with 53.6% of the vote against her Republican opponent, Philippe Goujon.

On July 26, 2020, she was appointed Secretary of State for the Social, Solidarity, and Responsible Economy in the government of Jean Castex. On May 20, 2022, she was appointed Secretary of State to the Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne, becoming the government's official spokesperson.

On June 19, 2022, Grégoire was re-elected as a deputy in the National Assembly, defeating her NUPES opponent, Céline Malaisé, with 68.51% of the vote. On July 4, 2022, she was appointed Minister-Delegate for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Trade, Crafts, and Tourism in Borne's second government.
