Early Life and Education

Lieutenant General Aleksey Alekseyevich Kondzerovsky received his military education at the 2nd Constantine Military School and graduated as a Second Lieutenant in the Leib-Guard Jäger Regiment. In 1895, he completed the Nicholas Academy of the General Staff.

Military Career

After graduating from the Nicholas Academy, Kondzerovsky held various positions in the Russian army, including Ober-Officer for Special Assignments in the 18th Army Corps and Company Commander in the Leib-Guard Jäger Regiment. From 1899 to 1914, he served in the General Staff, rising through the ranks to become Duty General.

During the First World War, Kondzerovsky served as Duty General to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Grand Duke Nicholas Nikolaevich, and later to Emperor Nicholas II.

Russian Civil War and Emigration

After the February Revolution, Kondzerovsky lost his post and was appointed to the Military Council. He was dismissed in 1918 and subsequently fled to Finland with his family.

In 1918, Kondzerovsky joined the Political Council under General Nikolai Yudenich. He served as Assistant Commander-in-Chief and Minister of War of the North-Western Army, participating in government meetings in Yudenich's absence. He also represented the army in Finland.

Following the defeat of the White armies in 1920, Kondzerovsky moved to Paris, where he worked briefly in an insurance company. He was a member of the Jäger Regiment Association and the Society of Reverence for Emperor Nicholas II.

Late Career and Death

From 1925, Kondzerovsky served as Chief of the Military Chancery of Grand Duke Nicholas Nikolaevich, collecting information on Russian generals and colonels in exile. He passed away on August 17, 1929, and was buried in the Cimetière des Batignolles in Paris.
