Rinat Andriyovych Valiev
Rinat Andriyovych Valiev is a Ukrainian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Isloch Minsk.
Early Life and Career
Valiev was born and raised in Odessa, Ukraine. He began his football career at the youth academy of Chornomorets Odessa. After completing his education, he moved to the Netherlands to join his older brother, Ruslan, who was playing for De Graafschap at the time. Valiev played for De Graafschap's youth team but failed to establish himself in the senior squad.
Return to Ukraine
After his stint in Holland, Valiev returned to Ukraine and played for several amateur and beach soccer teams, including Signal Odessa, Ivan Odessa, and Marrion.
Chornomorets Odessa
In January 2007, Valiev was signed by his former youth club, Chornomorets Odessa. He made his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League in March 2007. However, he struggled to break into the first team and was loaned out to Stal Alchevsk in August 2008.
Kyiv's Obolon
Valiev left Chornomorets in the summer of 2009 and joined newly promoted Premier League club Obolon Kyiv as a free agent. He made his debut for Obolon in July 2009.
Personal Life
Valiev's father was not a professional footballer, but his older brother, Ruslan, is a well-known player who represented Borussia Mönchengladbach, De Graafschap, and Emmen.
