Biography of Rob Zombie
Rob Zombie is an American rock musician, best known as the vocalist of the groove metal band "White Zombie", which he co-founded with Sean Yseult in 1985. After the band's breakup, Rob embarked on a successful solo career.

Early Life
Rob Zombie, born Robert Cummings, was born on January 12, 1965 in Massachusetts, but moved to New York at the age of 19. His parents worked as event organizers, which meant they had little time to spend with their sons. Rob developed a love for horror films during his childhood and survived a terrifying attack on a campsite with his family. He has a younger brother named Michael Cummings, who is the lead vocalist of the band "Powerman 5000".

Music
After struggling to obtain a high school diploma, Robert attended an art college but did not graduate. Before forming his own band, "White Zombie", he worked as a courier and a loader for a few months. To fit the theme of the band's songs about the afterlife, Robert changed his image and adopted the stage name Rob Zombie. Throughout his career, he maintained his signature style of long hair and a bearded face, adding to his intimidating appearance. Rob remained the vocalist of "White Zombie" throughout the band's existence. Interestingly, the band's co-founder, Sean Yseult, played bass guitar. The lineup also included guitarist Jay Yuenger and drummer Ivan de Prume, who was later replaced by John Tempesta. The band's first album, "Soul-Crusher", did not gain much recognition, but their second album, "Make Them Die Slowly", received positive reviews. Their third album featured a collaboration with Iggy Pop. The band's final album, "Astro-Creep: 2000", reached the sixth position on the Billboard 200 and achieved platinum status.

Solo Career
By the time Rob started his solo career, he had a wealth of experience in creating rock music, which led to immediate success. In 1997, he formed his own project and continued to develop the industrial and groove metal genres. His debut album, "Hellbilly Deluxe", was released in 1998 and sold three times more copies than any of the "White Zombie" albums. Rob embarked on a tour to support the album, and it quickly became a platinum success. His second album, "The Sinister Urge", featured collaborations with Ozzy Osbourne, Tommy Lee of "Motley Crue", Kerry King of "Slayer", DJ Lethal of "Limp Bizkit", and Alice Cooper. The album received critical acclaim and appealed to a wide audience.

Films
In addition to his music career, Rob Zombie ventured into directing and screenwriting. In 2003, his horror film "House of 1000 Corpses" was released, featuring his wife Sheri Moon Zombie, Sid Haig, and Karen Black. Two years later, the sequel "The Devil's Rejects" premiered. In 2007, Rob directed the thriller "Halloween", a remake of John Carpenter's 1978 film, starring Dee Wallace, Malcolm McDowell, and William Forsythe. The film received positive reviews compared to other American slasher films. In 2009, the sequel "Halloween II" was released. Rob also directed an animated comedy horror film called "The Haunted World of El Superbeasto" in the same year. In 2013, he directed the supernatural thriller "The Lords of Salem". In 2016, Rob released the horror film "31", which he wrote, directed, and produced. This film featured fans of Rob Zombie who helped finance the project.

Personal Life
Little is known about Rob Zombie's personal life. He was previously in a relationship with Sean Yseult, with whom he co-founded "White Zombie". Even after their breakup, they continued to perform together in the band. In October 2002, Rob married actress and designer Sheri Moon Zombie, whom he had been dating for a couple of years. Despite his dark and sinister image, Rob Zombie is a devout Christian. The couple supports each other in their respective careers, with Sheri often attending Rob's performances and Rob directing music videos for Sheri's band.

Current Work
In 2017, Rob Zombie continues to tour and delight fans with both his classic and new hits. He has announced that he is working on a new album, although the release date has not been revealed. Rob remains active on social media, sharing photos from his performances and personal archive. Additionally, he is currently working on a horror film called "Three from Hell", which is set to be released in 2019. This film will showcase Rob's skills as a director, screenwriter, and producer.
