Early Life and Club Career
Austrian-Albanian DefenderArdian Kozniku, an Austrian-Albanian footballer, made his mark as a defender. He honed his skills at the football schools of Tirana's Partizani and Sturm Graz, where he commenced his professional career in 2004.
In 2006, Kozniku transferred to Red Bull Salzburg for a fee of €1,000,000. He made his debut for Salzburg on February 26th, but an injury during his second match sidelined him until the season's end. Following the season's conclusion in June, he returned to Sturm Graz.
Rise to Prominence
In 2007, Kozniku joined Austria Vienna. He made his debut on February 25th and helped the team secure the Austrian Cup that year. On October 7th, 2007, he scored his first professional goal. During the summer of 2008, he re-joined Red Bull Salzburg.
International Recognition
On August 17th, 2005, Kozniku earned his international debut for Austria in a friendly against Scotland. He became a part of the Austrian squad for Euro 2008.
