Loan and Return to Liverpool
In late 2007, Flynn was loaned to Hereford United, a club in the English fourth division. However, he suffered an injury shortly after and had to return to Liverpool. Despite the opportunity to return to Hereford, Flynn decided to remain with the reserves of his club.

In the final, Liverpool defeated Tigres from Mexico with a score of 5-1.
Professional Achievements
On April 7, 2008, Flynn played for Liverpool's reserve team against Blackburn Rovers, securing a 1-0 victory. This win guaranteed Liverpool's first-place finish in the North Premier League, the highest-ranking tournament for English football club reserves. Although Flynn played well in the match, he did not manage to score despite a one-on-one opportunity with the goalkeeper.
On April 11, Liverpool celebrated their victory in the tournament with a 2-1 win over Manchester City. Flynn contributed to the team's success by providing an assist for Daniel Pacheco's goal.
Throughout his career, Flynn has achieved notable accolades, including being the North Premier League champion for reserves in 2008, as well as winning the Youth Cup of England in 2006 and 2007, and the Dallas Cup in 2008.
