Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, was born in Santiago, Chile, on November 23, 1987. Her biological parents gave her up for adoption, and at six months of age, she was adopted by an Italian-American couple, Helen and Andrew Polizzi. Her adoptive father worked as an auto shop manager and volunteer firefighter, while her mother was an office manager.
