Political Career in the Senate
Elected as a senator in 2011, she held a prominent position in the Senate. Notably, she was elected Vice President of the Senate on October 4, 2017. Her tenure also included membership in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais Regional Council from 1998 to 2010, where she served as the leader of the centrist faction from 2004 to 2010.
