Bio of a Ukrainian Entrepreneur and Politician
Early Life and EducationOleksandr Bezgin was born in Ukraine and holds a degree in International Economics and Management from Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University.
Business Career
Bezgin has a background in advertising, design, and communications. From 2012 to 2015, he served as Creative Director of SCU KYIV, a renowned advertising agency. Subsequently, he became an expert at the Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO) in 2016.
Social Activism
Beyond his business ventures, Bezgin is the Co-Founder and Chairman of the NGO "Alliance of Actions." He also participates in the "Staff Reserve of Ukraine" initiative, aiming to培养 a new generation of leaders.
Political Career
2016-2018: Democratic AllianceFrom 2016 to 2017, Bezgin was a member of the Bureau of the Democratic Alliance's Kyiv City Party Organization. He also served on the party's board from 2017 to 2018.
2019: Servant of the People
Bezgin joined the Servant of the People party and ran for office in the 2019 parliamentary elections. He was listed 77th on the party list and was elected to the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament.
Current Role in Parliament
Bezgin serves on the Verkhovna Rada's Committee on State Power Organization, Local Self-Government, Regional Development, and Urban Planning. He is also the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Administrative-Territorial Structure.
Sanctions
On December 7, 2020, Bezgin was included in the Russian government's санкционный list against Ukrainian individuals.
