After high school, Frazier attended Southern Illinois University, where he quickly became a standout player. He was named a Division II All-American in 1964 and 1965. In 1967, he led the Salukis to victory in the NIT tournament, earning MVP honors.

New York Knicks Legend

The New York Knicks drafted Frazier in 1967, and the nickname "Clyde" stuck due to his resemblance to the character in the film "Bonnie and Clyde." Frazier quickly became a fan favorite, known for his defensive prowess and stylish afro. He earned All-Rookie honors in 1968 and was an All-Star MVP in 1975.
