Early Career in BulgariaZdrvako Lazarov, a skilled Bulgarian striker, honed his craft in his hometown with Lokomotiv Septemvri. He then embarked on stints with Yantra, CSKA Sofia, and Minyor before joining Levski in 1998. However, his time there was short-lived, and he moved on to Slavia the following year.
Flourishing in Turkey
In 2000, Lazarov made the pivotal decision to join the Turkish league. He became a formidable presence, donning the jerseys of Kocaelispor, Gaziantepspor, and Kayseri Erciyesspor. Over six seasons, he amassed an impressive 67 goals in 197 appearances.
Near Move to Russia
Despite receiving an invitation from Moscow's Spartak, Lazarov's transfer was hampered by Gaziantepspor's exorbitant demands. Instead, he continued his career in Turkey, forming a formidable partnership with Brazilian forward Viola.
Return to Bulgaria and Later Career
Upon his return from Turkey, Lazarov rejoined Slavia. From August 2008 to 2009, he played for CSKA Sofia. In 2009, he signed a two-year contract with Cherno More, marking the final chapter of his Bulgarian club career.
