Childhood and Early Career
Sergei Danilov, a Belarusian footballer, began his career at the SDYUSSHOR-8 academy in Gomel under the guidance of renowned coaches Viktor Korotkevich and Vladimir Ageev. Subsequently, he joined the senior team of FC Gomel and played for them until 2005, with a brief interruption.
Ukrainian Adventure
After leaving Gomel, Danilov moved to Ukraine and signed for FC Metalist Kharkiv. He remained with Metalist until the expiration of his contract on December 31, 2007, making his final appearance in a 1-0 victory over FC Zakarpattia on December 1, 2007.
Return to Belarus and Minsk Success
In 2008, Danilov returned to Belarus and joined FC Metallurg Donetsk on a three-year contract. He made his debut for the club on March 2, 2008, in a 0-1 defeat against FC Metalurg Zaporizhya. In autumn 2011, Danilov briefly rejoined FC Gomel to finish the season.
In March 2012, he signed a two-year contract with FC Dinamo Minsk. Over two seasons with the club, Danilov played in 56 matches across various tournaments, scoring three goals and providing eight assists.
