Early Life and Education
Kazakh composer was born and raised in Kazakhstan. She displayed musical talent from an early age, graduating from music school in 1989 with a focus on the flute.
University Studies
After graduating from music school, she pursued higher education at the prestigious Moscow Conservatory, where she studied under esteemed professors N. Sidelnikov and V. Tarnopolsky.
International Education and Masterclasses
In 1995, she received a grant from DAAD to continue her studies at the Bremen University of Arts, where she studied under renowned composer J. Pag-Pan. She also attended masterclasses with prominent figures such as K. Huber.
Scholarships and Residencies
In 2000, she received the Franz Liszt Scholarship from the Weimar University of Music. She participated in composition seminars in Switzerland and France, expanding her musical horizons.
Musical Career
She currently lives and works in Bremen, Germany. Her compositions have been performed by renowned chamber ensembles such as Klangforum Wien, Ensemble Modern, and the Arditti Quartet.
