Early Life and Education
Born in 1922 in Baksaisky district, Kazakh SSR, the young man completed 7th grade in 1937. He then enrolled in the Guryev Oil Technical School until 1939.
Party Work and Military Service (1939-1947)
His political career began in August 1939 when he joined the Baksaisky district committee of the Communist Youth League of Kazakhstan (LKSMK). He worked as a technical secretary before becoming head of accounting and statistics. In 1942, he enlisted in the Soviet Army and served until 1947. During his military service, he joined the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) in 1944 and studied at the Kharkiv Military-Political School of the Red Army in 1945-1946.
Continued Party Leadership (1947-1977)
After returning from the war, he worked as an instructor at the Guryev regional committee of the CP Kazakhstan from 1947-1948. He then became head of the propaganda and agitation department at the Makat district committee of the CP Kazakhstan from 1948-1951. From 1951-1953, he was the secretary of the Makat oil field party bureau in the Guryev region.
He continued his education at the Alma-Ata Higher Party School from 1954-1958. After graduating, he returned as the secretary of the Inder Borate Mine party bureau in the Guryev region (1958-1961). He then served as director of the Inder Automobile Depot of the Guryev Auto Trust from 1961-1963 and the Dengiis District Industrial and Household Service Combine from 1963-1965.
From 1965-1966, he was the secretary of the executive committee of the Inder District Council of People's Deputies. He then held various positions within the Guryev police department, including deputy chief for political and educational work (1966-1977) and head of the department for political and educational work (1977-1985).
Later Career and Retirement
In 1977, he became director of the Guryev Regional Book Trade Department, a position he held until 1985. He retired from active political work in 1986 as secretary of the Guryev City Council for Defense of Honor and Dignity.
Family
He married Saru Istimirovna Ikhanova in 1949, and together they raised seven children and two orphaned children of his brother. They had 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
